I saw that lines 4 - 10 in a ptx file are a 3x3 rotation matrix and a 4x4 rotation matrix. Why is it necessary to store the same matrix twice, but with an extra column of (0, 0, 0, 1) in the 4x4 case?

Thanks,

David
