Hi,

I need to find a machine (with a software) for the glass factory, which would be able to scan the manmade producted glass.

The requirement is to put the manmade half-finished product into this machine, it will scan the inaccuracies and brush the glass into the final shape according to the desired data. The size-deviation of the half-finished product is not more then 2mm (milimeters).

Thanks for help, Vadim.

I think you may be in the wrong section of this forum... since this is intended for civil/survey applications, but let me see if I can help you...

If you want something quick and high accuracy you may want to begin looking at magazines and websites having to do with Quality control... Quality Digest is a good one. Desktop Engineering is good too, but not so much focused on your specific application which is in-process quality measurement reporting...

The scanners that might work would be white-light scanners, DPI scanner, etc... and other machine vision that can do this in an automated or semi-automatic fashion... chances are you will need custom integration.
