Hi Guys,

I 'am looking for a three dimensional measurement system with high accuracy (0.04 mm).
I want to measure the surface of a small area like aircraft wing areas. I canīt measure with a big system like a laser tracker, i need a small one.

Have you got some ideas for me?

Thank you for answers...

Best regards

Thomas

I recommend you start looking at the metrology grade scanning systems:

FARO ScanArm
Leica (metrology division) T-Scan
Konica-Minolta Range 7
DPI

Also, white-light systems may fall into your tolerance like:
ATOS
Steinbichler
etc...

Check out this list from a good show on scanning in your industry:

EMS, Inc has experience using the Konica Minolta Vivid 9i and Surphaser for aircraft projects like these:

http://www.ems-usa.com/pdf/Success_Spotlight_Blackhawk_Helicopter.pdf

In addition to 3d scanning Blackhawks and Gulfstreams, we have also 3d scanned MRAPS, boats, and other large objets in medium to long range.

The Vivid 9i is good for high res in medium range: http://www.ems-usa.com/pdf/vivid9i_e4.pdf

The Surphaser is meant for long range 3d scanning:

I know this thread is old; however, I also wanted to include GOM's ATOS 3D scanner. ATOS is aerospace certified and utilized widely for those applications.
